FOOTHILLS STEEL EXPANSION NEWS
In 1980, Foothills Steel Foundry purchased land and various foundry equipment for a future expansion. Since that time we have
continually added machinery and buildings to our future site. The furnace purchased is rated at 10 tons which will more
than double the casting size we will produce. This opens new avenues in the mining industry, ie. complete buckets and assorted
larger castings. Delivery times should also improve based on our ability to produce larger quantities of molten steel.
